We've had some pretty stormy weather recently. Thought I would try to catch the mood over San Francisco bay during this period. I used hookers green mixed with Payne's grey for the sky and sea, and Raw Sienna for the beach. Size: 14" x 11".
You created such a beautiful atmospheric landscape! Although you used the same colors for sky and sea, the textures you created are so different, I really love it!
I love the way the sailboat breaks up the scene. Was that done with masking fluid?

ReplyDeletethanks Blaga. We are always told in art class that the sky is reflected in the water so they are more or less the same color.
