I'm still on a roll with watercolor texturing. I think I even prefer this one to the previous post, because the colors are more muted. I used Daniel Smith's perrylene green, transparent red iron oxide and Dailer Rowney's sepia acrylic ink. I used granulation medium on the sepia ink in the foreground which breaks up the ink and creates these wonderful textures.

DeleteHi Jean, this really is a very lovely painting and I can see why it is your favourite over the last one you posted. While I tend to prefer views rather than close up art I have to say this is a favourite of mine. I could almost see this as a textile artwork. Keep up the good work.

I'd love to see what you come up with. I love your work so much - particularly the subtle colors you use.
DeleteThanks Jean....I'm not for sure what I will do will even be in the same ballpark with what you turned out in "Tangled Undergrowth" I think you have that technique down to a "T" Of all your work I think that piece is my most favorite...keeping in mind that all your work is good too....but that one strikes a cord with me.
